Our followers favourite patterns March 2021

It has been a busy month in the HiyaHiya Europe office, and I haven’t had much time to cast on any new projects. So for this blog, I asked our Instagram followers what patterns they are currently making. Unlike my previous favourite pattern blogs, you do need to pay for these patterns, but they are worth every penny.

The first came from @flutterby_debz, and they have cast on the Wool & Honey Sweater by @dreareneeknits. This is a gorgeous pattern, with a repeating honeycomb pattern growing from the neck.

The next suggestions were from @katrienplmrs, and they have cast on two lovely sweaters. The first being the Aosta by the knit purl girl. This is a wonderful top-down project worked in the round, producing a beautiful and delicate pattern throughout.

The second project they are working on is the Spirally Sweater by Pickles Norway. This is a lovely turtle neck pattern, with spiralling detail reaching out from around the neck.

Another suggestion was from @mrsstickleback, and they are currently test knitting the growing shawl by Ani Knits. This shawl is a combination of both a triangle and heart style This pattern makes me think of runes and vines and is one I am saving for a future cast on.

The only pattern that I completed was a test knit for The Knit Yorker.

This isn’t the first pattern I have made from her collection, nor is it my first test knit. This time I made these gorgeous Fire Escape Socks. Magali is a wonderful designer to test knit for, and taking part in her groups has aided my own knitting development.

I chose to make mine in Nebula by Noodle Soup Yarns, which I love and they look amazing. However, photos struggle to show off the beauty of this pattern. If you head to the Ravelry page for this pattern, you can see a wide range of photos of these socks!

If you have any suggestions for any future patterns I can share or try, please let me know! I would love to see what you are making, especially if it is using any of our amazing products!

Until next time Happy Knitting and crochet!
